What’s new in Quill

Every update, in plain words. Have an idea? Send us feedback.

Quill Planner is here

  • A new name and a new look. HOA Manager is now Quill Planner, with a quill-pen icon and a brand-new website at quillplanner.com.
  • Ask for approval, or auto-approve. Quill can keep showing every change for your OK (the default), or apply its changes right away. Undo is always there. Switch it in Quill’s “…” menu on iPhone or in Settings on the web.
  • Better on iPad. The tabs become a sidebar, and reading screens keep a comfortable width while the Planner uses the whole screen.
  • Nicer answers. Quill’s replies now show real bullet lists and bold labels.
  • A calmer web app. One seamless layout, a full week in the Planner on laptops, clearer empty states and fewer dead ends.

Agendas that know your job

  • Meeting agendas. Ask “Draft an agenda” and Quill writes a timed agenda for your next meeting, shaped by your kind of work, and saves it to the meeting.
  • Live AI is back. We fixed what was stopping live answers, so questions like “What is an HOA?” get a real reply.
  • Apple Intelligence. On supported iPhones, some answers are written on your device and never leave it.
  • Icons that match. A hike shows a hiker, lunch shows a fork and knife, a call shows a phone — across Today, Planner and Quill.
  • Welcome scene. A living neighborhood that follows the time of day greets you when you open the app.
  • Sign up during setup. Create your account as the last step of onboarding, or continue without one.
  • New Pro page, plus published Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy.

Talk to Quill like a person

  • Say hi, ask what Quill can do, or say “Move lunch to 1 PM”, “Push my 3 PM back 30 minutes” or “Cancel my 4 PM” — Quill previews the change instantly.
  • A running timer now stays in sight on every screen.
  • Notes on the web, and a clean welcome screen after you sign out.
